More Work Related Issues
Back once again here and I know that it is late and I should be sleeping but I just want to take a few minutes to talk about some work related issues that has been rolling around in my mind before I sleep.I was thinking about the management postion at the gas bar for sometime and I am thinking that it is probably a position not worth taking.I don't know.It is a conflicting decision because the money isn't bad and I am pretty short on money with the wage I am making right now.With taxes coming up and my RRSP it seems that I may take the job.Another side of the issue is that if I take the management job then I will be pretty much stuck in the position.Which means that I'll be able to get promoted higher than managing the gas bar.I don't know how that is said but that is what I have been told.I will have to stay there forever which means they will never promote me to be manager of an actual store in case I want to get a job working in a Safeway store or managing a store for Safeway or... Is God a "unity of three"?
SAY NOT: THREE! CEASE! PART ONE SAY NOT “THREE”! Contrary to the Bible, the Holy Qur’an does indeed use the word “trinity”. However, the Holy Qur’an uses this word in a negative sense, implying that its very application to a doctrine of God implies that God has partners, at least two “others” who are like God in every way. Although there certainly are what I call “triadic texts” in the Christian New Testament in which there are mention of God, Jesus [pbuh], and the “Holy Spirit”, in the light of what I present in this reflection, I am not in the slightest convinced that these texts suggest that God is a “unity-of-three”. The irony, of course, is that the Bible neither uses the word “trinity”, nor any semblance of it, in its presentation of a supposedly revealed doctrine of God. It is the revelation of God in the Holy Qur’an that coins the word which was already well-known in the Christian world at the time of the revelation through the Prophet Mohammad [pbuh]. Here... Day 11
So today was a quiet day. For this project to work I have to make the effort to go out everyday and .. lol, I sometimes can't be bothered. All I did today was watch Prison Break season 2. AHHHHHHHHHH I GOT NOTHING TO SAY GRRRRRRR. Anyways, highlight of my day was that I went to Cook's Hill and got some steak. There's a saying, if Heaven was on Earth, it would be called Cook's Hill. And the image below is why :) This is how I eat my steak; Medium Cooked, Pepper Sauce :) A plate of the steak, chips and salad at Cook's Hill. It is $10 on Sunday-Thursday for those who want to go try it!! .. But I'm sure everyone's been there. Mmmm, bring on day 12? LOL. Jasontran!
